Hey, guys! Happy Thanksgiving. It’s November 23rd, 2023, marking day 2457 of my entrepreneurial journey. Today, I’m diving into my content strategy for 2024. I’m looking at expanding my presence across eight different platforms. While I’m already active on these platforms, I’m aiming to scale up in terms of quantity—more content across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, podcasts, threads, LinkedIn, and my email list.
Now, let’s talk about the balance between quality and quantity. Alex Hormozi, a figure in the industry, stresses the importance of both. Not every piece of content needs to be top-tier quality, but it should deliver value to your audience. Quantity matters because it increases visibility. One way to maximize content is by ‘arbitraging’—transforming one piece of content into multiple formats. For instance, an Instagram reel with a great caption can be repurposed for threads. Similarly, a podcast episode can become a blog post.
Here’s a glimpse of my content strategy for 2024 across these eight platforms. Each serves a different purpose, but collectively, they aim for growth—be it followers, listeners, or subscribers. My ultimate goal is to document my journey across 10,000 days as an entrepreneur.
I’ve outlined three key content pieces for arbitrage. For instance, this video you’re watching now will be a 10-12 minute YouTube piece. From this, I’ll create three short reels for TikTok and YouTube shorts. One long video becomes six shorter pieces across two platforms. Each reel will also generate a caption for threads and LinkedIn—three of each. Essentially, from one YouTube video, I can generate 13 distinct pieces of content.
For podcasts, I’ll follow a similar strategy. Each episode will become a YouTube video, three reels for TikTok and YouTube shorts, potentially IG stories, and blog posts. The aim is to diversify content without duplicating it entirely.
Instagram holds a special place in my strategy. While I aim for two reels daily, these will also populate TikTok, YouTube shorts, and Facebook. The captions from these reels will transform into threads and LinkedIn posts, generating at least 10 more pieces of content daily.
I’m striving for a high output—23 pieces of content daily—throughout the year. It’s an ambitious target, but consistency is key. By the end of the year, that would total to 8,395 pieces of content. With this volume, growth is inevitable.
This strategy also involves leveraging content across platforms. For instance, I’ll convert this video into a podcast and then repurpose it into a blog post, which will be promoted on Instagram to encourage email list sign-ups. Your insights, advice, or feedback on this approach are welcomed!
